Managing the Products Database

Under Products tab, click Database

This is where you will create your products, specifications and tech packs.

Start by clicking add product, and give your product a name.

Once you click on create, you can start building your tech pack.

After products have been created, there is a products dasboard that displays all products along with their status and version.

The Status for each product will be either Draft, Pending Publish or Published. Only Published products can be used in the Development process. Please note, if changes are made to a product, the status of the Product changes back to Pending Publish.

The Versions column illustrates how many versions have been published for each product.

At the end of each row, there are 3 dots. Click this icon to duplicate or delete a product.

Duplicate a product will allow there to be two versions of a product. There will be a prompt to change the name of the second product or the default name will be "copy of 'product name' ". Published versions for this product will not be duplicated. Product details, measurements, BOM, files and variants will be copied over. This is a useful feature for when there is one element of a product that would need to be changed for an upcoming collection - ie cotton t-shirt - everything would remain the same except the fabric would change to linen/cotton blend.
